Why is Bluzelle's Data Oracles Special?

Bluzelle Oracles provides high demand price feeds for defi applications. The service has three components that set it apart:

01

Fast pricing intervals

Bluzelle Oracles fetches data every 5 minutes and stores it on Bluzelle DB, ensuring the whole network validate the exact same price stored by the node. This means defi applications can grab them quickly and aren't constrained by congestion issues on Ethereum.

02

High quality price data

Bluzelle Oracles uses a 5 step process that votes in and out data from reputable places and runs statistical analysis on prior price to ensure accuracy and validity, to arrive at a blended value that can be trusted and stored.

03

Advanced security triggers

Bluzelle Oracles is an on-demand historical price index. That enables applications to run statistical analysis that will generate warnings when a price point appears out of the norm. For example, a bad actor changing the price to create a flash loan attack.

5-Step Data Cleaning Process

Bluzelle Oracles sanitize the data through a five step process that gives the most fair and accurate price at that time.

Delta Banding

Blended Value is stored in Bluzelle DB

Bluzelle Oracles sanitize the data through a five step process that gives the most fair and accurate price at that time.

Validator Voting Power

Each oracle vote is weighted based on network contribution

Standard Deviation Filtering

Apply an upper and lower math tolerance limit. Any value from step 1 outside the limit is rejected and validator slashed.

Recalculate Voting Power

New value is calculated with any outliers from step 2 eliminated.

Source Weighting

Sources that are considered a stronger authority garner more weight than those that are not. More intelligent filtering.

Delta Banding

The value from step 4 is compared with a prior time interval price point. If it falls within a delta band placed around this, it remains. If its out of range, the value is rejected along with the voting period.
